as you note in the tracker, Armature.py is the current doc that Ascotan 
/ Joseph wrote to document the new api code he put together for the 
system introduced in 2.4. i guess he just missed the fact that NLA docs 
have an example of how the old system worked. i guess a quick fix would 
be just to remove the armature/bone stuff from the NLA example, as it is 
just redundant there now?

about the state of the NLA api itself, dealing with the strips etc., i 
don't know .. IIRC that is a recent addition, put in last spring (after 
orange) by someone. i guess it would be good to add an example of how to 
add/manipulate NLA strips in that doc, instead of the armature/bone 
things that are elsewhere.
