If I copy an object where the whole object was moved in editmode  (ie
so that the object center is now located other than the original
geometric center of the object) the copy of the object is located at
the original center.

Is this the intended behavior?  If not, what additional information
should I be copying to have the object placed in the same relative
location in the new object?
