Joe,

Thanks for the support, but I assure you that it was very trivial to 
wrap those Blender event related functions for BPython.  The credit here 
goes to our creative API users, it's great to see what  script writers 
come up with : ).

We needed a method to give more control to script writers and when I was 
getting the 'demo mode' in place I saw these could be used also to give 
scripts a way to define new "modes".  It's not exactly a popular 
solution either outside bpython : ), but it's useful now, seems stable 
and when a better event system is introduced we can make sure Python 
gets well served with hooks.  Possibly we can also include something 
inside Theeth's new transform framework, let's see.
