[Bf-gamedev] Purpose of the mailing list

Hi everyone,

This doesn't apply to a great number of mailing list users, but I think it
worth following up on Michael's point concerning the purpose of this
mailing list.

If users would like to discuss their opinion concerning tangentially
related topics, such as their own games or engine comparisons, there
already exists a number forums for such purpose (BlenderArtists.org and
gameblender.org (where did blenderunderground go?!))

This mailing list is for development discussion only, where opinions can be
shared but must be wholly relevant to the discussion of development.
