[Bf-gamedev] Steam release timeframe?

Is there a timeframe for the first Steam release of Blender? It's been 
nearly four months since the idea was first raised and I don't recall 
ever hearing any official news except the initial announcement that 
Valve's offer would be taken

Will we perhaps be seeing something once Dalai and Bastien's six-month 
contract is up?
