I recently discovered the power and versatility of Blender when I went online looking for software to help me edit films shot with my DSLR. To my surprise, when I entered my search parameters, a Blender tutorial series was among the list of other popular, and some not so popular, film editing software.

I had seen the program before, but I was overwhelmed by the default rendering screen, so I didn't really investigate its other features.

The video editing tutorial by Mickeycal on YouTube is awesome. He helps people like me learn this very powerful feature of Blender. However, I think you are missing an opportunity to grow your user base as well as Blender's popularity.

I am a photographer who decided to finally explore the filmmaking tools on my camera, and this was the catalyst for me to discover Blender's functionality in this area. However, many DSLR shooters are also filmmakers (weddings, events, short films, music videos, etc.), and it would be great if Blender had a RAW photo editor as part of its application suite. The transition from a RAW photo editor to film-editing software is a natural part of the work many photographers do. Therefore, I would like to suggest you consider adding this feature in Blender.
