[Bf-funboard] Border render on top of old renders

While this is definitely useful, internal details make it complicated.

Consider the render buffer isn't just one image, but multiple passes,
and possibly even multiple views (stereoscopic rendering).

Its possible of course...

There can be some check that all buffers line-up, between new/previous
renders, then the previous render-data is used.
I expect users would want to be able to cancel, and optionally not
apply the new border-render to the buffer, thats possible too by
postponing merging buffers... and only _draw_ overlapping to begin
with.

Even then we would have to take-care this doesn't backfire.
