[Bf-funboard] 3D View's view undo and saving certain views to get back to them

I think Blender modelling experience could be better with view undos
(separated from general undo) and maybe even possibility to save certain
more important views. Of course scrolling would only count as one change,
as would repeated panning.

I imagine certain parts of the model (like wheel of the car zoomed in
orthographically) or hinge of some part would repeatedly be zoomed to and
it would be great to be able to save them under certain keys. Like Pressing
Shift+F5 would store the view you know will be useful later and then
whenever you press F5 it would immediately take you to it until you
overwrite it with a new view.

I also often use viewport for rendering fast previews of the scene I am
making, instead of the full render setting. Sometimes I would love to get
back at a certain view I used (and rerender and check what is different)
but I don't want to go through the hassle of setting up a camera.

There is an add-on that enables to store views, but not undo.

I however think it should be default in blender.

On the by-the-way hand, selections should not be counted as global undo
steps. I imagine they take like 2kb of RAM, but often when I undo and pray
that the step I made way back is still there, Blender only goes through my
many frantic selections and the last step I need is usually already gone.
