[Bf-funboard] Why don't preview and final do anything?

I think the confusion might be because final and preview both have
branched path tracing in the presets?
If you make new presets which have our preferences in them, it should
work ok, at least that's what my cursory check seems to indicate (I had
even never noticed the presets at all!!! )
