Ahh.. Sorry i did not get you. You want modifers which transform verties to
be allowed to apply them. I hope the devs will add it.

i wrote Morfer tool which can copy vertices from other objects. You can
apply modifiers to one object, then copy all morphs from other object. It
will be not so fast but it can help sometimes.
