[Bf-funboard] Suggestion about checkboxes in menus

Hi Hadrien,
This can be supported but I don't think its a really good idea.

We have some operators which show with a checkbox icon so from the
users perspective theres no difference between these and toggles
accessed via our data API.

Also I think its important menus have predictable outcome, so the user
can know what to expect without having to wave their mouse to get a
menu to vanish sometimes but not others.

I'm not totally against having some way to do this though (Hold Alt
for example), but this also seems like a weak solution.

Not that we should blindly follow others - but I checked some other
applications and they all close their menus when toggling options too
(firefox, qt-applications, gnome-applications).
