[Bf-funboard] Will mathematical equasions be default?

Hello,

I agree with you that the change is a great addition, but not that good on
the ergonomics. It doesn't seem to have gone through a UI design process
like you see with other changes coming in 2.70. There's a discussion at
BlenderArtists about the feature and people mention various problems the
change brought.

So far there hasn't been a developer involved in these discussions. I tried
contacting Jonathan Williamson from the UI team, who helped with the
revision of the feature, but got no reply yet. Hopefully the feature will
receive some more work and be better implemented. As you mention yourself,
the changes seem minor, but transforms are used so often, it all really
adds up.
