[Bf-funboard] desired outliner group visibility behavior?

Currently toggling outliner-group-visibility off is a verb-action "turn off
display for all object present in this group". If an object in this group
is also in another group, it's visibility state is still toggled off.

The use of the "eye" icon and my bias expected this to be a state-toggle
for the group, where objects which are in multiple groups would be drawn if
any of the groups they were in was visible (or if they were in no groups).

Any artists/users have any perspective on the desired behavior of group
visibility?
