Here is a sample use. I took Andrew Price's City Blend and changed one
of the input nodes to take a random input. It makes all the copies of
the same building change color. I made it to strong so it is easy to
see what I did. Effects like this would make a city like andrew's look
a lot more real because there is no repeating building color. Very
subtle uses of this effect could make a picture like this look a LOT
better with almost no extra work.

All the purple are just image textures without images. I just
downloaded one texture to save time and make a point. Imagine all the
textures being slightly different in color or shade or whatever is
needed based on good random inputs node.
