[Bf-funboard] Background of UV unwrap

first you need to make a 'new image' from the image menu in the UV editor.

In the dialog that shows you can choose the color,or you might also select UV checkerboard.
Now you can paint on it or load an image into it as well.


Do keep in mind that you need to select the mesh before it unwraps and shows properly in the UV editor.
You can test that even on a black UV editor screen by pressing "a" to select all.
If nothing selects,nothing is loaded,because the mesh is not selected.

@Maybe it would not be amiss to propose to the developpers that the UV unwrap should be visible with any color? so :make it so that even with a black background you can see the islands?
