AFAICT this already works like this since the editmode and uv
faceselect modes have been merged. Also, there is a Sync UV and Mesh
Selection button in the uv editor. This is RC3/4 (and current SVN ;) I
get nice wireframes over my meshes in Textured 3dview mode.
