[Bf-funboard] voxel volume sculpting ?

this is just kindof a way out there idea.. but imagine if could sculpt
with voxel volumes using procedural brush types. it would allow to do
things like combine / pull apart peices of a mesh that you would
otherwise have to do vert editing to achieve ..
basically there would be the voxel volume and then an iso surface
(polygons wrapped around it, thats what is wrapped around metaballs
right?) and the whole clip start/end would be filled with voxels that
are either turned on or off depending on if they have been added or
subtracted to the volume ..
you could do things like ctrl click to create a voxel point or just
use a procedural brush or a normal brush that say adds voxels (eg
turns them on) ..
anyways just a crazy idea i thought i would run by this board :)
btw i mean procedural brushes like a brush that simulates thermal
erosion or something like this..
