[Bf-funboard] O.S. Integration and better plugin browser

I concur.

I don't think blender should use OS file browsers, but I do think the
file browser should use the OS services, like, as i said before, the
Network Neighbourhood in windows.

The other thing I'd like to see is the font browsing by the typeface
name in the text object and browsing plugins by name too, not opening a
file browser everytime I have to choose a plugin or font.

I'm an ubuntu user at home and these things really don't annoy me much,
but I'm trying to advocate blender at work, where we use windows(argh!)
in a networked environment, and these little annoyances drive the other
designers away. Even if the workflow is WAY superior than 3dsmax
(vanille, mind you. None of the cool plugins), the tool we use there,
people tend to simply run away if some of the things they're used to
simply don't work.

Maybe the creation of a Asset Browser window with thumbnails, animated
thumbnails (à la combustion), font names instead of the file names...

So, these are my requests:

- better asset browsing by font name;

- better plugin browsing;

- Windows Network Neighbourhood integrantion in the file browser.

Flávio.
