Hi all.
I'm running Blender 2.43 on a new installation of Linux FC6 on an lintel P4 with
Ge force V9280 3d Graphics card. It all worked very well on FC4 on the same
hardware.
Now Blender shuts down /user to a log-in prompt when I use g,y to move an
object in the y direction in Plan view, NumPad 7 in edit and object mode.
Does not shut down in isometric, in 3D diagonal view.
It does not shut down using g as a separate key command or by pressing the y key.
Can anyone explain why this phemominae may occur.
I first noticed it in Ubuntu Edgy-generic last week so did not take much notice
until it
became 100 percent of the time in FC6.
TIA
A most curious Roger
