I'm not sure how that add/substract area is supposed to work.
Does that read like A + B - C = D, where either A or C could 
be left empty and D would always be the result?
If so, I miss the =.

Oh, and I would like to just mention:
Intersection (overlap between both)
Exclusion (everything except the overlap)
