Yes, I agree.
Shift+F for etges that are there is fine but for verts with no joiniung
edges its a pain,.
Again, couild be added in python (I did a lofting script that uses
similar logic) but best in C.
Infact all could be put into the F key.
Fkey : 2/3/4 verts selected: make face/edge.
Fkey: With 5+ endes selected- Scanfill- currently shift+f
FKey with a mess of verts select, makes them into a vert loop- Best fit
method should be fine. (shortest dist between all.) - Currently not in
blender and is proposed above.
So F twice would vertloop and scanfill a bunch of free standing verts.
- I think thgis would be nice.
