You mean created in blender in whatever way? I don't think a real 3rd
dimension is useful for icons, so that basicaly leaves us with vector
instead of pixel icons.
Would it be feasible to make blender use vector icons with SVG import or
using SVG directly? SVG is the way to go for icons, at least for desktop
environments. Blender could have a fully scalable ui, prepared for a
future with different display devices and a large range of resolutions.
Oh well, I'm asking questions and make rather vague suggestions again ..
But i will try, if I'm capable of designing some nice icons (SVG or not).
