[Bf-funboard] What happened to the Linux version

Hi,

I think you miss the point how it goes in the Blender world. All OS's  
and their users are treated equally and respectfully. Most of all, we  
respect the time and devotion people put in improving the sofware. The  
testing binaries were provided on voluntary basis, and it just happened  
to be coincidence we didn't get much Linux versions in the past 2 weeks.

The official 2.30 release will be done for all platforms, as usual.
