[Bf-funboard] the situation with textboxes...

Hi,
I was wondering if the textboxes in Blender are going to be turned into
normal textboxes in the future...
i.e. be able to do these things:
1) the first click places the caret (cursor) at the mouse pointer position
2) a double-click either selects a whole word or everything
3) dragging can be used to select everything, even if the textbox isn't
initially active
4) typing replaces whatever is selected
- (also, allow cut/copy/paste)

At the moment blender allows you to do (1), which only allows one character
to be deleted at a time.
