Hello!

I shouldn't complain probably, but these two things are just too obvious
to be obmitted :)

First, the new grid drawing code is cool, and makes the grid much more
usable, BUT: the new axes colors are _very_ distracting. Even though they
are fresher and c00ler, I would think professional users would prefer
a less in-your-face color. 

Then, a funny thing about the pulldown menus (example: the Drawtype
menu in the object buttons) which, I think, nobody ever mentioned 
in these endless discussions:

Did anyone notice that the arrow-icon to open the pulldown menus is on
the RIGHT, but the OPTIONS appear on the LEFT, and in practice it's of
no use to click on the arrow, because the menu will self-destruct instantly
as soon as you move the mouse away from the arrow.

My suggestion: put the arrow on the LEFT _or_ the options to the RIGHT. :)
