A quick reply before I go,

The panels are being worked on - here's a recent mockup:
http://reblended.com/www/broken/interface/controls/panel_float.png
http://reblended.com/www/broken/interface/controls/panel_window.png

I didn't include the Move/Rotate/Scale in the Object menu because it can =
be quite troublesome - the transform functions are dependent on where =
the mouse is when the command is chosen. Having the mouse down in the =
corner of the screen every time causes some weird behaviour and could =
easily confuse newbies if they think that's the only way to do it and =
that it's standard Blender behaviour. Those actions will go much better =
in the toolbox.

Cheers

Matt

interface, plus other enhancements

The current version of 2.29 has the same button layouts as in previous =
versions of Blender. This layout is still confusing, so I have made a =
proposal of how you could reorganise the renderbuttons in the new layout =
as seen in 2.29.

  See it here:

  Here is an explanation:

(I have also added panel headers for dragging)

  What do you think?
