Hey guys!

I've got a big list of features just waiting for final
aproval and tweaking before being included in the main
releases, so you better be ready 'cause this is gonna
get wild! ok, maybe not... ;)

All those feature can be tested in Tuhopuu 2. I've got
a windows binary available here:
http://clubinfo.bdeb.qc.ca/~theeth/tuhopuu/tuhopuu.zip
(you'll probably need winrar to open the archive,
sinze it seems that winzip cannot handle 4th level
compression)
The description in detail of the features are in the
feature list file:
http://clubinfo.bdeb.qc.ca/~theeth/tuhopuu/featurelist.txt

------------------------------
First, the last approval for numerical input in
transformation modes.
Some might remember that I presented this to you some
times ago, but now it's back with all the little
modifications that were talked about back then.

Reminder (see the tuhopuu featurelist for more
details):

Numerical input in transformation modes (Grab, Rotate,
Scale,
Warp, Shear, Shrink/Fatten). It works with the
transformations mode,
it doesn't replace them, so just enter grab, scale or
rotate mode
as usual and start typing.

-----------------------
Axis constraining guidelines

When using an axis constraint in transformation modes
(grab, size, rotate), helplines gets drawn on
screen to help visualize the constraining direction.
These lines are
per-object and per-vertice. Colors were used to
indicate the axis.

This is coupled with the extension of the axis
constrain and local axis constrain by pressing the
letter of the axis once or twice. This was limited to
rotation before, and I extended it to grabbing and
resizing (still some glitch with size, I'll be fixing
that next).

--------------------------
Next, vertice snap mode:

Hold down the Alt button in grab mode to snap the
selected vertice
to the one near the mouse. Axis constraining affects
snapping, so
that can easily be used to align vertice with one
another on given
axis.

However, there's a problem with holding the Alt button
in the fact that clicking to confirm the action will
then trigger the middle mouse button like if you were
using 3rd button emulation. This will probably be
solved by making Snap mode a toggle (Alt to turn on,
Alt again to turn off)

------------------------------

Edit mode mirror

The function is accessible through the Wkey menu, it's
logically name Mirror.

It should be fairly simple to understand how it works,
and it has even more functionality than the old
mirroring way.

-----------

Ok, that's it for the feature description. What I need
now is some users opinions, critics, and approval.

thanks,
Martin
