[Bf-funboard] Env mapping

Environment mapping is something that has always baffled me in blender. It's
hard to use, hard get working and once it's done it's hard to edit.

 

I wouldn't think it would be too hard for one to implement it so that we
have two options, manual or automatic. Manual is the same as we had before,
we give it an object and a layer(s) not to render. Auto simply makes an
envmap of a specified size from the objects base point (that lil
yellow/purple dot ;) and at render time it renders an envmap from the
objects base point without rendering the object it's self.

 

Is this possible? And how easy is it to implement?
