It can be done. I do it with my two monitors, however the best setup is =
with
a dual-head card, with the same resolution for each monitor. I use =
NVIDIA
hardware to do this, and it seems to be the best.

=20

If you're using Linux you're going to want to make sure you are using =
NVIDIA
drivers, not the "nv" driver that come with xfree. Set it up so that =
Linux
treats the two monitors as a single, extra wide display.

=20

If you're using another card under Linux, and drivers aren't available =
from
manufacturer X, then I'm not sure how you'd set that up.

=20

If windows just make sure you're using NVIDIA (again if you have NVIDIA
hardware) drivers just be sure that nview is setup so that windows =
treats
the card as one single extra wide display. This is crucial because
acceleration can drop dramatically if Windows treats the card as two
separate devices in the system, same with Linux.

=20

Now make sure window spanning is enabled in windows, or if in Linux that =
you
have a "dynamic" version of blender, dynamic will expand blender over =
both
monitors, it's full-screen.

=20

Make a backup copy of your .b.blend file, wherever it may be. In windows
it's in your application data folder under your user dir. In Linux it's
under your home dir. make sure you can view hidden files, as it is =
hidden
under Linux.

=20

Now load blender, then load the .blend from the file there. Then open it
with blender, set your setting as usual, then hit ctrl+U and enter.

http://www.elysiun.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3D12545 <-------A thread =
sort of
about it

http://reblended.com/www/dittohead/files/DUALblend.zip <-------the =
.blend
and some instructions.

Have lots o' fun!!

PS: just letting people know it can be done.
