Intetesting approach as you mention 2.8 is not stable yet. -Not completed-
would be a more suitable word at this point. But I find that 2.8 is
actually predictable in what can or cannot be used when following the
developer's log.

Just as it is a turn off to teach when something fails and crashes on 2.8,
it is also exciting to work and teach when a feature is prominent, new and
stable.

So at the moment I am teaching grease pencil and sculpting on 2.8 with
enjoyable sucess.

Challenges? The incongruence of the keyboard layout. Legacy keboard layout
from 2.79 on 2.8 will not solve this as easily as the devs thought because,
it is a complete new mind set applied to workflow.

Blender 2.8 coming up approximatedly on Feb 2019. So, we are getting closer.
