Cool - I have been teaching the game engine side of blender for about 10 years - just love what it offers the students. I was sorry to see it be removed from the main Blender program but happy that someone picked it up and ran with it (so we don't have to always use older versions).
Are these virtual conferences or is this the big Blender conference?? I am good to go virtually, but currently reside in Italy, so travel is minimal here.
Thanks again for your continued support of the product - very cool software
Sincerely
Robert Tiffany

For the past 2 years Peter Kemp and I, Blender teachers, have been organizing education meetings at the Blender Conference. The goal is to discuss Blender education; challenges, concerns, materials, blender101 development, education programs or share best practices. It's an open discussion, anyone can join and bring in a subject as long as it is related to Blender and education.

Monique

Hi all,
This Thursday is the start of the Blender Conference 2018. I've scheduled an education meeting on Friday to discuss Blender education in universities and pre-universities.
With blender 2.8 coming there is lots to discuss. What challenges does blender 2.8 bring when teaching Blender to (young) students?
I would like to hear from you. And perhaps we can discuss your concerns or feedback at the education meeting.
Kind regards,
Monique
