First of all my best wishes to both of you for delivering such a wonderful workshop for making Blender as the tool for making multimedia things..
Myself Aneesh from Kerala. Working as Sr.Multimedia artist at the University of Calicut, Kerala, India. One of the grt fans of "Blender".
I had gone through the notes..  simply explained, easy to follow and well organized.
Let me write few suggestions

1. Your note starts with the  launch of blender interface and layout. What i felt is you should explain what is Blender and why its so special among other graphic/ animation softwares. And also provide the basic information of from where
     we can avail the software and provide the link for downloading the latest software update.
2. I think the "appending" part is not necessary, because for the freshers it will may lead to some diversion from the flow of the modelling process. Without the step also you can explain the rest of the process of posing and all.

Once again thanking you for popularizing Blender.
