Hi Piotr and all,

It’s very true that wiki blender is a good platform but am personally find the current contents very instructional in some sense … suddenly have a though that if we could have peoples devoting effort making it a clone version of 3DCG Wikipedia + a bit academia stuffs … seems better than local communities building all different platforms … of course, we can’t eliminate the localized contents or demand from different countries …

Let me think about it and anyone has other opinion?

Have a nice day
☺nn

Hello all, Hi Lula,

I think that your idea is already live, in the means of WIKI pages. Look, the WIKI needs much attention and is written basically in English. It should cover all about Blender, including basics, and English version should be the one which should be translated to another languages. And a lot of pages is outdated or taken just from 2.4 docs.
This is very important for the whole international community, and best of all - the medium is already set up: you have wiki pages, with access to edit, you have rules, reviewers, and a lot of content to put there.
Will be nice if you consider this valuable, for all of us.
WIKI main page: http://wiki.blender.org/
Pay attention to Write section, which is for people like you, who are willing to share some time and effort for Blender community.

best regards!
Piotr

My idea is about Blender to be more knowing in academy around the world, nothing in technology, but also education, that many theory in education been made, but less Activity.
creating a web of articles in many languages, coautoring the creator of article and him translater in various language.

Example: I made an article about my xperiences with blender in high school, in Natal/Brazil.
Marcelo, that know more english, spanish, french, whatever, and portuguese, translate the article in any language, being him a co-author and as me, try to publish in any country, that him live.

as robert can make an article about blender, BGE, render, etc etc, and education, technology, i ranslate to portuguese, being me an co-author, as another us translate to another language, him being co-author in especific academic journal.

maybe I am asking nosense, but can be a good way to do blender more expansive in education and technology, especialy to the future of education in the world.

hugs, sorry any mistake,
Lula Borges
