[Bf-education] question about Blender certification

I'm happy to share some of the assessment tasks I've done, and I'll give
you a quick overview now.

The first is a written task looking at what careers use 3d animation &
visualisation skills, what those employers are looking for, and finding
what education pathways exist. The main aim of this is to make the student
see the benefit of this course as a starting point into 3D animation; to
make aware of where it can be used; and what they need to do to get there.

The second project is the collection of the animation made while completing
aspects of the course. This does include a few open ended animation where
they will design an object that is used, create a walking man animation,
and finished with a team project of a short film.

I have an old exam from when we used 3DS Max which I'll rewrite as the
practical part of the exam. Just quickly, it was a simple clock animation
to be complete within a 1 & 1/2 hour time frame.

This is the second year I have been able to use Blender instead of 3DS Max,
and as a result I have spend the last 6 months redrafting the course for
more material including unit descriptions, course outline, activity sheets,
task summaries, presentation/demonstration checklists which I was planning
to use for my BFCT.

Cheers,
Jamie Le Rossignol
