[Bf-education] SIGGRAPH 2013 BOF

At the last blender conference there was an interesting presentation outlining the challenges of using open source software to teach animation. I can find the slides if you like. In the US education is very "industry-oriented" so any tool that isn't perceived as giving employment to students is disregarded...
