[Bf-education] VFX for Grade School?

I'm studying VFX and planning on using it with grade school kids.  Maybe something like flashing the kids names with holographic effect over their heads as they move about in a simple scene.  Maybe doing finger puppets.

Would there be enough clues on how to to this in the "Tears of Steel" DVDs?
