Hi Bharath,
Don't know the complexity of your need but if simple use an empty to call text in from another layer and play with the timer so it has a short life set a pulse delay and you can get blinking text. hope that helps with your deadline.

Hi everyone,
I am new to blender. Can anyone please help me as to how to animate texts in blender game engine. I basically need the text to blink in the BGE with an always sensor. Please help me I have a deadline to meet. It would mean a lot.
