Kesten, thank you for the reply/post. I really appreciation your welcoming and open nature.
I am very interesting in  "I would like to work on quality assurance programs for blender users."
Thank you for the suggestions. I keep a daily class postmortem or reflection if you will to ensure that all students learning styles can be reached or accommodated. I am currently working with ages 8 to 13 and the depth of information has to be adjusted per group as we build up knowledge about 3d/computer animation.

Douglas, thank you for the suggestion regarding creating assets for games. I appreciate you reaching out. I will look into the game and see how it might fit into the classes that I am offering.

John, Thank you for the link to the manual.

-Jentzen

Welcome Jentzen

I worked as a physics engine video game programmer for 2 years.  I am now developing with blender.  I would like to work on quality assurance programs for blender users.  Blender is a fantastic tool, but it is occasionally frustrating beacuse development is moving so quickly and GUI / features change each month.  Documentation is having a hard time keeping up.  There are so many fantastic video tutorials out there.  I often find one exactly on the topic i require, but it's from a 6 month old version of blender and now it's almost useless :( .

I think a classroom of students is a great way to gather a lot of quality feedback on the intuitiveness of the program.  I would recommend finding an experienced blender artist who can troubleshoot for you on blenderartists.org.  I would be willing to offer scripting/code animation/simulation troubleshooting in exchange for some information from your students on how they find working with blender.

Some of my video tutorials can be found at

good luck!
