[Bf-education] Introduction

[Colin Maxwell]

Hi,
I'm Colin Maxwell, a lecturer at Carnegie College in Scotland.
We've been developing new qualifications in game development over the past
year and a few schools and colleges have started trialling it this academic
session, with many more expected to do so next year.
I've been using Blender with my students for 2 years now and am now trying
to champion its cause within schools and colleges in Scotland. Although
there are many different tools for making games, and many are free, I feel
that Blender has a lot more to offer as it can be used for many different
areas such as animation, modelling, visual effects and games.
It is such a shame that this education mailing list is so inactive, but I
am still hoping to make contact with other educators who use Blender.
