RE: advanced rigging and render askewI found tutorials on custom bones which answered my question, and sorry to have posted it here since someone said this is not a good place for it, but so far the digest seems a bit slim so I'm not so sorry and I got a fast accurate answer here regarding border rendering which may save a complex animation that became nearly useless. This is resolved. I would like to be a blender educator but I am having difficulty with some of blenders higher end functions, mostly because the layout has changed, I havent got to use them enough, and there's a scarcity of videos for some aspects of them. My new problem is that when I parent a control bone (custom shaped) to another bone, it works great, IK and all... but when i add another bone and parent it the same way it also works great but I go back to the first bone and it is no longer influencing my armature, so if someone thinks this is the place to answer a question like that go
for it or I'll search fruitlessly likely and have to subscribe to a forum and go there and check periodically, I thought this mailing group could be a way to discuss issues that educators should be aware of. Sorry if I'm wrong, I'll let the moderators decide, but i like seeing the discussion and seeing expert advice delivered in the mail. thanks friends. So if it comes back as a discussion topic I'll know its ok to discuss blender issues here. and if not I just be content to read whatever others are writing about to get a feel for what actually gets discussed here.
