try going the other way; change your monitor resolution to 800x600 and see what happens.

I'm spoiled by higher resolution.  Of course 800x600 would work...but it's ugly.  On the other hand, it would be interesting to see how my high school students would deal with just one view to work in.  Perhaps my penchant for concurrent front, right, top and camera views might be too confusing.
