[Bf-education] Blender Training in Japan

Hi,

I'm based in Japan and from time to time I do weekend introductory
Blender training seminars that are open to general enrollment (my
ordinary courses, which include Blender-related ones, are through the
university where I work, so they are not available for non-students).
I don't have any seminars lined up in the near future though. Other
than my own seminars, I am not aware of any other training options
that are open to the public (several other university instructors also
do Blender-related courses). Another complication is that most
training in Japan (including my seminars) is conducted in Japanese. Do
you speak Japanese? If not, Japan might not be the ideal destination
for training.

I suppose I could add that one-on-one training is not necessarily out
of the question but I can pretty much guarantee that flying to Japan,
paying for accommodation, and hiring me by the hour is not going to be
the most cost-effective way to learn Blender :). If you're obscenely
wealthy and can't figure out how to burn through your cash fast enough
then by all means you're welcome, but otherwise I would *highly*
recommend a disciplined regimen of online tutorials, a book or two,
and some determined self-study, which can all be done right where you
are.
