Maybe it's an browser cache issue. It works fine after updating the browser. 
So, it is fixed.

Can you please make a bug report on phabricator.
       The info I need:
     
What browser, is it the latest or an older browser version,
       which link is generated, is the menu still activated when just       opening and closing the menu,
       is there a console log message: would be "Version Switch Error:       versions.json could not be loaded." or error messages from jquery
       (on firefox javascript messages filtering [on  by default iirc]       must be deactivated).
     
     
And just to rule it out:
       versions.json should       be: dev: "dev 2.79"
