[Bf-docboard] wiki scrum #1

Hi all,

Here are the assignments for week 1. If you're not named and want to join
in the fun, pick a few unclaimed ones from our doc-board contribs or from
the hitlist below, or browse the reviews
page<http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Meta:Wiki_Tasks/Review_2.6_Manual>.
Let's try to get as many short reviews done as possible by the next scrum:
sunday.

Get started with the Writer guide:

http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Meta:Guides/Writer_Guide

If you make changes to a pages make sure you check the “follow this page”
checkbox available when you submit your edits to keep informed about
changes to that page.

Be sure you've read the Style
Guidelines<http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Meta:Guides/Style_Guide>and
are familiar with
templates <http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Meta:Guides/Templates> for
formatting. Your technical writing skills will be a nice addition to this
team.
Also, the bottom right hand corner has two useful clicks. The Wiki tab to
pop-up a menu for file uploads and such. The other takes you to Wiki-meta
where you can learn more about wiki markup.

bf-docboard is a good place to post any troubles you have with wiki
markup, or with the new process. I've also added a discussion page to the
writer guide at top for tips n tricks and troubleshooting the review
process.

If your assignment is from the review page below, note that you can
compare with previous versions like 2.4 by clicking the tab at the top
center of the page. If you want to select your own, let me know and i'll
put yours back into the hitlist hopper.

To kickstart things we will choose assignments from those who have posted
recent (this week) requests for review to bf-docboard (apologies if i've
missed you) + a few from the reviews
page<http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Meta:Wiki_Tasks/Review_2.6_Manual>.
We currently suggest that you do your review in the Discussion tab for the
assigned page and notify here when complete. If you click on the Discussion
tab and the page doesn't exist, just click the Edit tab and start typing to
create it.

I'll put in a request to review some release notes of recent contributions
as well. Coders often don't want to waste time prettifying their notes, and
it's a good way to dig deep into a topic with the assistance of an expert.
