Hi John,

My own $0.2: I think that there are two ideal possibilities for ways to help
with 2.57 documentation. The first would be to add to and help refine the
Wiki. The Wiki has long been the primary "official online" Blender learning
resource. It is currently outdated and in some disarray, but this only
requires people to get in and work on it, so if you're proposing to do work
on 2.5 documentation, I think this would be a good use of your energy.

A benefit of the Wiki of course is that once it is broadly up to date for
2.5, it is much easier to keep up to date by incremental update (which can
be done by multiple people) than traditional books or e-books are. Another
advantage is that the framework in general already exists.

Alternately, creating 3rd party resources as you have already done is very
welcome. You can announce this on Blendernation and Blenderartists forum,
among other places. You can also of course link to it from appropriate
places within the Blender.org wiki.

Hope this is helpful.

Tony
