Maybe I haven't been clear: you save the text in the text editor, not 
the wiki page itself. As long as you press "show preview" you can go on 
and on saving the text in your text editor, and this will update the 
text area without saving the webpage. When you will press save in the 
web page there will be just one log in the history :)
