Yes, the history link in the header works perfectly well (I used it in 
the first part of the "3D Interaction" french translation, 
http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Doc:FR/Manual/3D_interaction and so on)

Just a remark: the small white arrow desapears a bit in the "in 
progress" bar... and it makes it be on tow lines, pertubating the whole 
header layout! So if you could do some cosmetic refinements (making the 
history link a bit more visible), it would be just perfect :) But this 
is not an urgent point.
