We talked in IRC, but for anyone else reading:
All the ideas listed are considered important features, it's best to pick
something that you think is most interesting or that you are most qualified
for, also if it's not on the list. If you're not very familiar with
physically based rendering, the PBRT book <http://www.pbrt.org/> is a great
way to learn.
