[Bf-cycles] Output Cycles viewport preview as image/movie?

But how can I render a 2000 frame animation like that? If it is possible to save a screenshot, then surely it would be possible to add a function to extend this feature so Blender could save out animations, just like using the 'Open GL render animation' button?
