[Bf-cycles] what is wrong with Cycles shading?

thanks guys, so what are the alternatives other than increasing subd or
light size? I mean code wise "other solutions even if they are biased, by
introducing some epsilon?"
@Sergey : ideas? (where to introduce the epsilon)
